On the beginning of July (08th to 11th), 7 members of the Student Chapter went on a field trip in Val de Travers, Switzerland, together with four permanent researchers of the RING team to discover the geology of the area. This was the occasion to meet our colleagues in a different context (team building), to discover real geological objects as the team’s main focus is on their numerical representation (for example, through karsts exploration), and to create an emulation environment for scientific discussions.

The Student Chapter and the RING team would like to thank the UniNE (University of Neuchâtel) most sincerely for their participation in this memorable field trip and in its well oiled organization.
