 To well understand and predict the behavior of complex geothermal systems, a double challenge must be taken up. On one hand, representing accurately the main physical phenomena that induce the flow and heat circulation, and on the other hand, identifying the impact of geological heterogeneities in those processes. During this talk, I will present to you the early stages of my work on this problem, especially the use of a 2D Ground-Water Flow and Heat Transport Simulator, HYDROTHERM.
